Beyond the Sea just uncorked the 100th Moet of 2011

Jan. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- ShaSa Resorts and Residences are proud to announce that their new gourmet restaurant Beyond the Sea, which only opened earlier this year and offers a delicious range of gourmet fusion foods, has been a stunning success so far this year, and has just uncorked its 101st bottle of Moet in 2011, a sure sign that Beyond the Sea is proving to be a real hit.

Beyond the Sea is not only proving popular with guests at the ShaSa Resort, as its delicious cuisine has made quite a name for itself right across Koh Samui, and as such has seen plenty of custom from Koh Samui residents and tourists staying at other resorts.

One of the reasons for the flyaway success of Beyond the Sea is thought to be down to its highly popular policy of featuring specialist “guest chefs” for a month at a time to come and add their own culinary specialty to what is already an incredibly varied menu.

As such, ShaSa Resorts and Beyond the Sea were delighted to welcome their first ever guest chef in the form of Oan Kuldiloke, of Felice Pasta & Dessert Bar in Bangkok fame to come and serve up a number of signature desserts, including her -Orange Samui Rum Sauce Custard Pudding and her famed Oreo New York Cheese Cake.  

Of course, Beyond the Sea isn’t all about the food though. The restaurant is already famous for its delicious Koh Samui Rum, which is brewed right here on Koh Samui itself, and its numerous cocktails made from this intoxicating spirit. Moreover, Beyond the Sea offers its diners an exceptional wine list, including Moet champagne and numerous other top brands.

Beyond the Sea General Manager Mr. Chawalit was delighted to announce just last week tha the restaurant had uncorked its 101st bottle of Moet champagne, a milestone that was reached in just 200 days of the restaurant’s grand opening. The measure of success for any restaurant ultimately comes down to how many sales it’s made, and so the rapid uncorking of so many bottles of Moet in such a short space of time is evidence of Beyond the Sea’s growing popularity.  

Mr. Chawalit announced that he wanted to thank the team at Beyond the Sea for all their hard work, and stated that they were already well on their way to the goal of establishing the restaurant as one of Koh Samui’s best known and most exclusive places to dine.
