Video Game “Founding Father” Chats About Past, Present and Future of Gaming

Feb. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Nolan Bushnell, recently inducted into the International Video Game Hall of Fame and Museum in 2010 and recognized this past year by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Fellowship Award (BAFTA), played a pivotal role in the video game industries when it first launched and continues to do so today.  

Matt Bradford, Director of Editorial Services for Twin Galaxies International, recently sat down with Bushnell to ask him about his most recent recognition with BAFTA, immersion into game worlds, how gaming has changed over the years as well as unsung heroes in the gaming industry.

In the interview, Bushnell recognizes Minecraft creator, Markuss “Notch” Persson, saying he followed one of the rules of gameplay: maximum richness, minimum rules.

“He’s kind of done that,” Bushnell said.  “[He] created this very, very compelling world space.”
