Novagard Solutions®, Inc. introduces NOVAFLEX® Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sealant

Feb. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Novagard Solutions, Inc., a leading supplier of specialty chemical products providing engineered solutions to the automotive, building construction, electrical, medical, general industrial and product assembly industries announces the introduction of NOVAFLEX Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sealant.  As a new entry into the NOVAFLEX (“When You Want the Seal to Last”) family of building material sealant products, Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sealant was engineered to meet the requirements for a high performance, long-lasting, permanently flexible, UV resistant, weatherproof adhesive sealant serving the general building materials applications involving installation or repair of windows & doors, siding, trim, gutters and metal roofs.

With the growth in industry demand for higher performance and long-lasting adhesive sealants, Novagard Solutions has engineered a new high performance, multi-purpose, oxime cure silicone product which demonstrates outstanding adhesion to most common building material substrates and offers industry leading adhesion to PVDF coatings including Kynar®.  NOVAFLEX Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sealant outperforms conventional polyurethane, petroleum solvent-based or other “advanced polymer” chemistry sealants.  Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sealant also replaces two former NOVAFLEX products.  With the introduction of this high performance, general purpose adhesive sealant, NOVAFLEX Siding & Trim Sealant and NOVAFLEX Glazing & Building Sealant are discontinued.

With the unique chemistry of silicone polymer technology, Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sealant contains no hazardous ingredients, is environmentally friendly, green building compliant, and readily extrudes in extreme (hot or cold) weather conditions with uniform consistency in flow, ease of use and clean-up.  Furthermore, the high performance formulation is designed to provide a weatherproof seal to match the intended long life time of the substrate including metal substrate installations used in siding, trim, gutters, roofing, windows and doors.  Contractors need an adhesive sealant that will not require call backs, will not crack, sag, shrink, lose adhesion nor degrade due to intense sunlight or extreme weather conditions through the years;   NOVAFLEX® Multi-Purpose was designed to meet those high performance, but general purpose, building requirements

In addition to its exceptional performance characteristics, NOVAFLEX Multi-Purpose Sealant has met the company’s NOVA-GREEN Initiative, indicating that it meets the highest standards for green building compliance, with a very low (less than 40g/L) VOC content, and LEED® or NAHB® certification letters are found on the company’s website.

NOVAFLEX Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sealant is available in 10.3 ounce plastic cartridges with 4-inch detachable nozzle, and sold in case sizes of 12 or 24 cartridges.  Tip Kit accessory packages are also available for our NOVAFLEX sealants; each Tip Kit contains two end-caps, two 45 degree adaptors and two 7-inch nozzles for hard to reach locations, (part# 028890026) and the sealant is available in 50+ colors.
