Acoustic Fields Debuts New Absorberblind At Consumer Electronics Show

Feb. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Acoustic Fields has just designed a new acoustical window treatment that has their proprietary foam absorption technology built into it. It resembles the vertical blind window treatment concept that has been available for years in the window treatment market. Each vain or slat houses a piece of 1/2" absorbing foam technology. The foam technology is then covered with a decorative fabric and housed in a powder coated frame.Numerous frame and fabric color options are available.

Windows and glass doors present numerous acoustical issues in our listening rooms, home theaters and professional recording studios. With the Absorberblind by Acoustic Fields one can now have sound absorption technology that can be extended across the window or door surface when music is played and then retracted when one needs to use the window or door.

Acoustic Fields debuted the Absorberblind project at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. They received over 140 inquires from both consumers and professionals in the business. Chuck Abel of Abel Systems stated  "The color scheme will go nicely in my office and home." Eunice Kron of KR Audio said emphatically "It's about time someone addressed this window issue".
