Feb. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- The CEO of AfrAsia Bank, James Benoit, has been honored with the ‘HR Leadership Award’ at the 2012 Global HR Excellence Awards, hosted by the World HRD Congress in Mumbai on Friday 17 February 2012.

The theme of this year’s Congress was ‘Survive & Thrive’ and the aim of the Global HR Excellence Awards is to recognize the best of the best, and to benchmark talent and HR practices.

The Jury and Council of Board members of The World HRD Congress conferred the award citing: "James's leadership and contribution to the field of HR is well known globally, and the position he occupies in the fraternity is strategic & iconic and as a thinker & doer he is a role model and a believer in change."
