Follow on Google News | ![]() DC A&T Alumni will honor 6 Alumni for Lifetime Achievement on Friday April 13The Washington, DC Chapter of NC A&T Alumni Association will honor six alumni who were instrumental in growth of one of the most influential A&T alumni chapters in the nation. The gala will support scholarships and the DC Alumni house.

Bellamy For over 65 years, the DC Chapter of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical (A&T) State University Alumni Association has made significant contribution to the growth and development of our respective communities. Our members are employed in a wide range of fields and on a daily basis are impacting our nation and world in a positive manner. The gala will celebrate our legacy of advancing education, leadership and service, while raising funds to support the DC Aggie House on 15th Street & the DC Aggie Scholarship. All A&T Alumni, HBCU alumni, family, friends and supporters are encouraged to support the induction of Jessie Barnes, Charlie Boyd, Marie Coates, Hamilton Flowers, John Petty and Marilyn Thorne in the DC Chapter's Hall of Fame. Tickets to the DC A&T Alumni Honoree gala is $75.00 per person, which includes fine dining and dancing. Tables may be purchased for $750. The attire for the evening is after-five. Today, the Washington DC Alumni Chapter of North Carolina A&T State University is one of the largest A&T Alumni chapters in the nation.
