Follow on Google News | Cetci Unveils Lpt, Yes Ims & Pdc Catcher At Ahr Expo 2012CETCI unveiled three new products, Low Power Transmitter (LPT), YES Intelligent Monitoring System (IMS) & PDC Catcher software, at the International Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (AHR) Expo in Chicago, Illinois on January 23-25, 2012.
By: Teresa Kouch CETCI received remarkable traffic during the three day show that plans to double their booth size, to a 10 x 20 ft booth, for AHR Expo 2013 are already in motion. The excitement visitors demonstrated over the new products during and after the show encouraged CETCI’s engineering department to work harder towards an earlier launch date. The initial launch of the LPT is expected for April 2012 and will only be available in a carbon monoxide (CO) or nitrogen dioxide (NO2) electrochemical sensor. The second LPT launch, to support a broader range of electrochemical sensors and include solid state sensors, is estimated to be in late summer. The LPT will feature three wiring options: two-wire, three-wire VDC or four-wire VAC power, 4 – 20 mA linear output signal, automatic thermal resetting fuse, RoHS compliant circuit boards, temperature compensation, and visual LED indication for power and fault conditions, and is all enclosed in a standard water / dust tight ABS / polycarbonate enclosure. As an added feature, CETCI will include the new sensor Calibration Extending Firmware (CEF) that takes into account the aging of the sensors so that less frequent calibrations are acceptable in non-critical applications. For more info about the LPT, visit www.critical- The YES IMS is expected to launch in late summer 2012. It features a nine channel sensor capacity including temperature and relative humidity, choice of more than thirty different sensors, a choice of a fixed wall mount version with a permanent wire with 24 VAC or DC and one relay output for alarm signaling or a portable desktop version with a 6 V wall adapter for 24 / 7 continuous monitoring and logging, standard full color LCD display, and a choice of Ethernet, wi-fi, or BACnet® modules. For more info about the YES IMS, visit www.critical- The PDC Catcher software is expected to launch in the summer of 2012. The PDC Catcher software features channel data logging by displaying real time logging for troubled detection areas, choice of CSV or MS Access, and event logging in real time, display a simulation of real time monitoring across multiple local or remote sites, view multi-channel monitoring on a single screen in blocks of 8 for detailed sensor channels or 32 for alarmed channels, send emails at specific set alarm levels, and remote monitoring based on cloud technology will allow real time display and control and change over the network. More details are yet to come on additional features and functionality of the software so please check back on www.critical- For more information on the entire range of gas detection systems and IAQ instruments, please visit www.critical- Want to be the first to be notified on updates?
