L & A Services and UNA Celebrate 7 Year Anniversary of Free Prescription Drug Card

March 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Seven years ago, L & A Services of Phoenix recognized that there were literally tens of thousands of people without prescription insurance coverage. Thus, the partnership with United Networks of America (UNA) was born. It is not an insurance plan, instead, it is a point-of-sale discount plan.

Accepted at almost every major pharmacy in the United States, it gives the uninsured a vehicle to get discounts when they have a need to purchase a prescription. It can be as much as a 75% discount.

A card holder can go online and get quotes from pharmacies in their neighborhoods and decide where to take their prescription, as prices are available on-line. Comparison shopping made really simple. With over 45 major chains participating, the number of pharmacies is in the thousands.

There is no cost for this card.
