Eden Technologies Introduces Spring Into Windows 7 Webinar Series for Windows 7 Migrations

Innovative webinars designed to help IT professionals better understand how to plan and execute cost-effective Windows 7 Migrations.

March 14, 2012 - PRLog -- New York, NY, March 13, 2012 – Eden Technologies, the Northeast’s premiere U.S.-based, enterprise-level IT consulting and managed services provider, today announced the official launch of its three-part Spring Into Windows 7 webinar series starting on Wednesday, March 21st at 12pm (EST) . The web-based Windows 7 migration series features Eden Technologies’ Windows 7 experts, along with guest IT professionals, in forthright discussions about the strategies and challenges behind the execution of seamless and cost-effective Windows 7 migrations.

The first webinar, “We're going to Windows 7 - The Readiness Assessment” will provide participants with the strategic roadmap necessary to get started on their migrations. Those in attendance will come away with an understanding of how the migration process can be broken down into logical—and manageable—components that streamline efficiency and prevent IT departments from feeling overwhelmed throughout the course of an otherwise long and painstaking migration.

“Our Spring into Windows 7 series is designed to provide real-world advice and guidance on how to plan and execute seamless Windows 7 migrations.   With IT departments stretched so thin, it is important to make the most of the resources you have on hand.  Consider these webinars one of those resources.  Our Eden experts and panelists collectively have thousands of migrations under their belt and are anxious to share what they have learned,” said Andrew Sweeney, Partner, Eden Technologies.

Additional Spring Into Windows 7 Action Plan Sessions include:
“What Will the End of XP Support REALLY Mean to You?” (Tuesday, April 10). This webinar will discuss in detail exactly what is going to change in April 2014 when Microsoft discontinues support of XP and other key applications.

“The Windows 7 Snowball Effect: Managing Multiple IT Initiatives while Migrating to Windows 7” (Tuesday, May 15). For most ogranizations, the decision to go to Windows 7 triggers a host of IT projects that are either essential to the success of Windows 7, or because of it.  Some of these projects can be as large in scope as Windows 7 and equally time consuming.  This webinar will discuss how to keep your windows 7 project on track while managing multiple IT initiatives.
