St. Patrick’s Day Forecast in Atlanta Calls for a 100% Chance of Green Snow

March 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA - St. Patrick’s Day is Saturday, March 17th and as Atlanta temperatures are predicted to hit in the 80’s, Peachtree Road will be 100% green snow. Tons of real green snow will fall at Urban Active in Buckhead as an invitation for the community to take part in a series of free challenges, giveaways and prizes to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Come dance in the green snow and get fit.

Snow in Atlanta is rare; twice per year is the average number of days that it snows in fact. What is even rarer? Snow in March; however, the blizzard of 1993 hit Atlanta from March 12th to the 13th and 19 years later, a March blizzard hits again at Urban Active.

The green snow will fall this St. Patrick’s Day Saturday, March 17th from noon until 3:00PM at Urban Active, at the corner of Peachtree and Oak Valley: 3535 Peachtree Rd in Lenox Marketplace
