By: Karen May Jones If you are ready to start your degree, consider Maysville Community College in Kentucky. Maysville Community College credit hours are priced reasonably, and probably are the lowest in the state. It's a college you can do in a classroom or attend online. Here are the basic steps to take before hitting the books this summer. 1. Submit your application online or in person. 2. If you have transcripts, pre-college testing scores, or a GED, fill out a request form. Scores must be mailed, no hand delivery. 3. Meet with an advisor to arrange necessary appointments. 4. Meet with financial aid (if applicable). 5. Take a COMPASS test if you haven’t already taken a pre-college test. 6. Meet with your advisor to determine which classes you want to take. It might take you a little while to get your motivation up for this, but once you get started, it will be so exciting. Visit my blog http://kyjuice.com and read more about my experience with MCCT.
