Dynetics Listed Among Top 10 Firms on NewSpace Global 100 Index

March 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Dynetics was recently listed as No. 7 on the “Top 10 Firms on the NewSpace Global 100 Index,” as reported in Space News.  Stratolaunch Systems, which selected Dynetics to perform overall technical integration and the mating and integration system hardware for its revolutionary air launch system, was named No. 5.

The NewSpace Global 100 Index ranks privately held, for-profit companies based on a proprietary algorithm that takes into account such factors as management, capitalization and technology.

Dynetics is listed in the Top 10 as Orion (subsidiary of Dynetics).  In December 2009, Dynetics acquired Orion Propulsion, a Huntsville aerospace company specializing in spacecraft and rocket propulsion design and fabrication, testing services, ground support equipment and launch operations support. The addition of Orion expanded Dynetics’ capabilities to develop space-related hardware.
