UkrAgroConsult updated universal yield calculator for growing agricultural crops

March 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Input data for universal margin calculator which is freely available on one of the company's resources - UAIndex (see http://www.uaindex.net/calculator) is updated in line with market trends of the current season.

As previously reported, Commodity Market Analyst "UkrAgroConsult" developed a multipurpose calculator for computing the marginal revenues from 1 hectare of land when producing 6 types of crops in Ukraine (wheat, corn, barley, rapeseed, soybean and sunflower).
Feedback obtained from our clients has shown that use of marginal revenue calculation is feasible and effective for market participants.
The marginal revenue calculation takes into account costs of key inputs: seeds, fertilizers, fuels, herbicides, pesticides, use of machinery, land lease, yield, wages, and projected selling price. It deals with two farming types: extensive and intensive ones.
