Rick Wallace Ministries Launches a Ministry Wide Fundraiser

March 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Bishop Rick Wallace has announced that Rick Wallace Ministries is moving away from the norm by launching a ministry wide fundraising. Bishop Wallace says that this is considered moving away from the norm because in the six plus years that Rick Wallace Ministries has been in existence it has had no official fundraisers. Bishop Wallace has supported the ministry through outside endeavors such as the books he has authored and published; his Public Relations Firm (Odyssey Media Group); and his business consulting firm (Myriad Business Solutions); among others.

Bishop Wallace has indicated that due to several projects that failed to fund, the ministry has been placed in a very precarious position.

“It has always been my goal for Rick Wallace Ministries and its subsidiaries to be financially autonomous. I have worked diligently over the years to keep the ministry functional and effective. I have used my own personal finances to ensure that the ministry remained afloat. This is an extremely difficult time for me. I don’t like asking for help and having to depend on others.

I understand that pride is a sin, so I don’t want the ministry to suffer because of my pride. I have consulted several advisors who have advised me that I need to ask for support. They feel that the work that is being done through Rick Wallace Ministries is too valuable to allow it to fall by the wayside.

Rick Wallace Ministries is at the forefront of Christian empowerment. Bishop Wallace has developed a reputation for not refusing engagements and requests based on money. Some feel that this has hurt his ministry financially. When asked he simply says, “The Word of God is not to be held hostage.” He understands his biblical right to earn money through his ministry, but he is very cautious that money doesn’t become the focal point. He understands that even though the ministry itself has never conducted a fundraiser there will still be those that will find fault in the first fundraiser.

He says that for the sake of the ministry and the Kingdom, he is more than willing to face the skeptics.
