Evolve Guest Controls Installs Hotel Energy Management System in Radisson LAX

The hotel aims to decrease its power consumption by using Evolve's energy efficient lighting, HVAC, and TV controls in all of the Radisson LAX's 580 rooms and suites.

The hotel group chose Evolve's active energy management platform, which engages guests to participate in being "green.” Guests are provided with a keycard, which they insert into a wall-mounted keycard reader that powers up the system. When they leave, they take the keycard, which powers down the appliances and sets back the thermostats by five degrees.

The company is also providing the EvolveNet back office energy control system, which grants staff full control over the system's devices and integrates with the hotel's Property Management System. The system also offers features such as occupancy reports, energy monitoring, alarms and device malfunction/battery alerts, and more.
