The Baltimore resident will succeed Lou Cestello who was recently promoted to regional executive to oversee PNC’s new Southeast region. Gamble will report to Cestello and both will be based in Baltimore. “Laura is a seasoned and respected business leader whose record of success and community leadership aligns with the needs of the local market and PNC’s overarching values,” said Pete Classen, executive vice president and head of PNC’s office of regional presidents. “We look forward to building on the solid forward-thinking foundation established by Lou as we continue to grow the Greater Maryland market.” Gamble has more than 20 years experience in the banking industry, most recently as president of Bank of America’s Maryland region. In addition to her role as president, Laura held leadership roles with-in various local, regional and national functions. She also is one of the founders of Skipjack Partners LLC, a Baltimore-based women-owned business consultancy. Gamble currently serves as a trustee of the Baltimore Community Foundation, the Sheppard Pratt Health System, the Central Maryland Transportation Alliance, and Lovely Lane United Methodist Church.
