Bowling Blast Off on Saturday, April 28 Kids Invited to Bowl Free!  

April 4, 2012. Monterey, CA. If you haven’t been bowling lately, you haven’t been bowling!  To show you what we mean, kids are invited to bowl free of charge for an hour on Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Monterey Lanes, 2161 N. Fremont Street Monterey, CA 93940. (831) 373-1553. (Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent.)

The free bowling event is a one-day extravaganza held in honor of our youth in Monterey County.  Bowling Blast Off is designed to introduce kids to the exciting sport of bowling and to draw the community together for an afternoon of fun.  Free snacks and lots of door prizes will be given away.  In addition, Bowling Blast Off will feature face painting, bowling trick shots, bowling characters, motorcycle policeman, sheriff’s search and rescue demonstrations, and live music.

Kids who participate in Bowling Blast Off are eligible to join the Monterey Lanes Kids’ Club for free.  Members of the Kids’ Club receive a customized membership card, an official certificate of membership, and get to bowl on Saturday mornings where the whole center is reserved just for kids.
