On April 14th, 2012, from 2:00 pm until 6:30 pm, the Weems-Botts Museum, in cooperation with 3:33 a.m. Paranormal Research, will host a benefit class on “Paranormal Research and the Metaphysical Factor.” This event, which will feature a special sneak preview of the completed episode of “The R.I.P. Files: Into the Light,” covers the basics of paranormal investigation and psychic protection. Topics include: Equipment, Terminology, Types of Hauntings, Negative Hauntings, Psychic Protection Methods, Investigation Techniques, and Effective Evidence Review. Experienced paranormal investigators from 3:33 a.m. Paranormal Research will discuss their experiences and take questions from the audience. There will also be a presentation of evidence captured specifically at the Weems-Botts Museum over the years. The Museum is said to be one of the most haunted locations in Virginia. “Paranormal Research and the Metaphysical Factor” will take place at the Dumfries Community Center, 17755 Main Street, Dumfries, VA. Participants must be at least 18 years of age. The cost is $30 per person and space is limited.
