SEM Link Host 5th Annual STEM Career Fair on May 19 at Georgia Tech for Metro Atlanta youth

April 17, 2012 - PRLog -- On Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 10:00am- 2:00 pm at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc (SEM Link) will host its 5th Annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Fair and Exhibition. This event will provide K-12 students with an opportunity to explore careers and meet and interact with professionals in these fields. Georgia Tech’s Student Center Ballroom is located at 350 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA. The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Fair and Exhibition is the signature event for the Math and Science Career Academy. The STEM Career Fair and Exhibition, which is free and open to the public, features exhibitors, STEM professionals, and students who will discuss their careers, conduct hands-on demonstrations or showcase real world applications of math and science.  The event is designed to facilitate students visiting the tables of the exhibitors and moving freely between activities. “The STEM Career  Fair is my favorite SEM Link event . I am glad we are able to host it for the 5th year in Atlanta and the 2nd year at Georgia Tech.” Founder and Executive Director Tokiwa Smith said. “I love to see it when youth interact with STEM professionals and have fun while doing STEM.”
