By: 2b Acting Witch Trinity is a new DVD and Internet TV series which brings together super natural facts, fiction, myths and legends in a jaw dropping mix of gripping plot, larger than life characters, razor sharp humour, mind blowing special effects and breath taking action. Based on historical events, the story provides an exciting look at Witches. Who are they? Their purpose? And why were they persecuted and hunted almost to extinction? A novel approached being used in the production is online character blogs where actors can modify their acting and changes can be made to scripts based on feedback received. The production team is very keen for people to engage with these blogs (www.witchtrinity.wordpress.com) “Audiences can now feel part of the super natural by using the blogs to follow the characters and storylines as the production progress.”, says David Jones the series Director. “We are looking to create something that reinvents Witches, in much the same way that Vampires have been redefined by shows such as Twilight and Vampire Diaries.” Filming of the first two episodes in Yorkshire starts in May and includes historical landmarks such as Pendle Hill that has strong witch connections adding to the shows mysteries about what is real and what is just pure fantasy. The first two episodes are planned to be released on DVD in November 2012. - ends - Notes to Editors: 1.
