By: THG Corporation According to Randy Roy, VP of Operations for THG Corporation, parent company of The Hope Group, the move is scheduled to take place over the weekend of May 5 & 6, with a Grand Opening scheduled for May7, 2012. The move is in reaction to customer demand for a more central and accessible location in the region. The Parker Store provides emergency replacement of ruptured hydraulic hose, while customers wait, as well as offering an on-hand inventory of over 3,000 industrial items including instrumentation, that support local businesses. The new location is about 10 minutes away from the current location, but its advantage comes in the close proximity to Rt. 95, Rt. 295, and Rt.1. According to Donna Tibbetts, Senior Purchasing Administrator, the final details for the seminar are being made now, but among the topics being prepared are metric thread identification and safety works training to be conducted by Parker certified trainers. As part of the Open House, a tradeshow exhibit will feature the latest Parker products from the Hydraulics, Automation, and Fluid Connectors Groups. On exhibit will be information about Parker cylinders, valves, hose assemblies, hose crimpers, pneumatic fittings, tube fittings, quick disconnects, seals, and other Parker products. Technical Seminars Planned As part of the Open House on May 24, 2012, two seminars have been scheduled that are open to those interested in Thread ID training and Safety Works Training.
