London, April 2012:  Threadneedles, a former Victorian banking hall in London’s Square Mile is now available for exclusive hire, making an excellent location for weddings, corporate events and private functions.  The historic, 5* boutique hotel is an inspirational venue with a stunning hand-painted, stained-glass domed lobby that dates back to 1856 – ideal for cocktail receptions – and Bonds Restaurant, which can be booked for private dinners.  

The hotel’s 74 guestrooms are beautifully designed, with the penthouse suite and its balcony offering views over the city.  

A boutique hotel, available exclusively

Elegant, bespoke, exclusive... design the perfect event.  Throw a lavish champagne reception in the lobby, host a dinner in Bonds Restaurant and enjoy cocktails in Bonds Bar before retiring to the 74 guestrooms and suites.   This unique and intimate venue has capacity for up to 80 guests for formal dining or 200 for a standing reception.
Private hire of the full hotel costs £30,000 per night*.  
   

The Champagne Lounge

The hotel’s dramatic lobby, crowned by a magnificent stained-glass dome, provides a striking space for private and corporate receptions; from spontaneous drinks for smaller parties to receptions for up to 50 guests or exclusive use for up to 150.

Laurent-Perrier takes centre stage as the house Champagne; with other brands available including a vintage Champagne Blanc de Blanc from Sussex.  The team at Bonds can also create a selection of canapés.  £4,500* for exclusive use, available to spend as required.   


Bonds Restaurant

Corinthian columns echo the building’s past and set the scene in the restaurant which sits in the heart of the original bank.  A popular haunt for locals, well-heeled types and foodies, Bonds serves a superb menu of Modern European cuisine.  The restaurant can accommodate up to 80 guests seated and is available for exclusive hire or for smaller bookings.  Combining both the restaurant and bar, the space offers for a standing reception for up to 200 guests.  A minimum spend of £7,000 applies for exclusive hire.*
