eBridge Wins Best Place to Work in Tampa Bay

April 25, 2012 - PRLog -- For the very first time, eBridge Inc. was ranked No. 1 in the Big category of the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2012 Best Places to Work awards program. This honor marks the second “first” for the company, which grew into the larger category this year after two years of ranking in the top three of the Nearly Big category of less than 25 employees.

With 55 finalists divided among four categories based on the number of employees, the top three companies in each category were announced at the award show at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo on April 19, 2012.  

Companies were nominated by employees, who were then asked to complete a 37-question online survey conducted by Quantum Workplace, a Nebraska company that uses science-based tools to measure and manage employee engagement, loyalty, and retention, according to TBBJ. The employee survey measures 10 key engagement categories focusing on such items as team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling of value, manager effectiveness, compensation, and benefits. Reponses are compiled and evaluated, companies ranked, and finalists chosen in each size category according to their overall composite score.

“We are beyond honored to see in black and white just how much our employees enjoy working here,” said eBridge CEO Leslie Haywood. “It is truly wonderful to be nominated in the first place, but to be able to show our community, partners, and customers that eBridge is such an amazing place to work – that’s priceless.”

After averaging the rankings given by individual employees, eBridge was awarded an overall score of 99.01, placing it second in the topmost Best Place to Work rankings.

“Now we have a new benchmark for next year,” said Haywood. “But our real reward is the amazing staff we have here at eBridge.”
