By: theEword New Informate ICE (Integrity Calculation Engine) and iDMS offer a better user-experience and, in the case of iDMS, a far more flexible and capable system that can be tailored to many more industries. The two systems build on jointing software created in 2000, and continually developed since to put them in the top flight of such systems. Hydratight’s major updates followed demands for tougher world safety standards and an increased awareness of the importance of leak-free bolted joints. Informate ICE can calculate bolt-load figures based on a large number of joint combinations to existing and emerging industry standards. The much-improved tool is even capable of joint analysis on custom parameters and worst-case conditions. Informate ICE also improves the user experience with an easy-access “toolbox” of frequently-used calculations. Hydratight joint integrity leader Joe Gill said: “Informate is the perfect tool for bolt load calculations for any industry in which reliable joint performance is essential.
