Follow on Google News | Stardust Arts Storms Encinitas 1st Annual Arts Festival with Youth Art[Encinitas, CA] May 5th the City of Encinitas Commission for the Arts celebrated the critical role the arts play in our schools and community, and launched the First Annual Encinitas Arts Festival.
32 panels, with over 288 pieces of Stardust student’s art was professionally displayed alongside participating schools, Olivenhain Pioneer Elementary, La Costa Heights, Encinitas Country Day Care and Park Dale Lane Elementary. The colorfully, creative and imaginative art was viewed by hundreds of very proud family, parents and students who were in awe of the talent on display in age groups 6 – 12. The students painted their hearts out, and now have three professional exhibitions, by invitation, under their belts this year. It looks promising for next year to once again to participate in the “fun for all” event with the City of Encinitas Commission for the Arts. “Job well done and we look forward to more creativity ahead”, states a very proud Cheryl Ehlers, who is the Director of The Stardust Arts. The Stardust Arts is recognized by the California State Assembly and the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, for contributions of a visual art program for youth in local communities and is co-partnered with Dr Wilderness Show, a 501 3(c) non-profit.
