Stardust Arts Storms Encinitas 1st Annual Arts Festival with Youth Art

May 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Filled with dance, theatre and music performances, hands-on art workshops, student visual art exhibits and an outdoor drum circle, In support of youth art, The Stardust Arts was proud to be involved in the visual art program, sponsored in part by the City of Encinitas and the Mizel Family Foundations Community Grant.

32 panels, with over 288 pieces of Stardust student’s art was professionally displayed alongside participating schools, Olivenhain Pioneer Elementary, La Costa Heights, Encinitas Country Day Care and Park Dale Lane Elementary.  The colorfully, creative and imaginative art was viewed by hundreds of very proud family, parents and students who were in awe of the talent on display in age groups 6 – 12.  

The students painted their hearts out, and now have three professional exhibitions, by invitation, under their belts this year.  It looks promising for next year to once again to participate in the “fun for all” event with the City of Encinitas Commission for the Arts.  “Job well done and we look forward to more creativity ahead”, states a very proud Cheryl Ehlers, who is the Director of The Stardust Arts.
