May 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Washington, D.C. — The Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) today announced that it has launched a newly re-designed website.  The new site, www.pcab.org, designed by Theedesign Studio, showcases compounding pharmacies that meet PCAB’s national quality and safety standards.

“We are excited to launch our re-designed website” said Joe Cabaleiro R.Ph., Executive Director of PCAB.  “The goal of this project was to update and modernize our look and feel, as well as provide a more user friendly experience.  We wanted our new website to clearly communicate why patients, prescribers and payers should choose a PCAB accredited pharmacy for their compounding needs.  We are very pleased with the outcome.”

PCAB wanted to make finding an accredited pharmacy easier for potential clients, and in the process highlight the pharmacies who have achieved accreditation.  The new site includes comprehensive FAQ sections which will allow PCAB end users to find information that directly affects them whether they are a pharmacy, prescriber or consumer.
