AbleNet Offers Special Educators and Parents a Chance to Win $1,000 of AbleNet Product

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – May 14, 2012 – This summer thousands of special educators and students will participate in the extended school year.  The Individuals with Disabilities Act mandates that school districts provide free appropriate public education to those with disabilities, which allows a student to continue working on his or her individualized education program outside of the normal school year.  AbleNet is celebrating the extended school year and the beginning of summer by hosting the AbleNet Summer Fun Sweepstakes.  

“The extended school year is important to our students because it gives them opportunities to maintain the skills he or she accomplished during the school so they’re ready for the fall.,” stated Jen Thalhuber, CEO of AbleNet.  “AbleNet believes the additional hard work of the students and teachers during the extended school year should be celebrated and that’s exactly what we’re doing.”

The AbleNet Summer Fun Sweepstakes features one grand prize of $1,000 of AbleNet product and three second place prizes of $100 of AbleNet product.  Entries can be submitted online through June 25, 2012 at www.facebook.com/AbleNetInc.  The site also contains detailed information about the sweepstakes, including the official rules.  The winning entry will be selected the week of July 2.
