Upon walking into the hallway the tell tale sign of ‘spongy’ floorboards gave a clue of what was to come! The images attached give an indication of the destructive power of Dry rot. The outbreak had resulted in the structural breakdown of the sub floor joists and floor boards in the kitchen and hallway.

The Answer To This Dry Rot Outbreak

The area was then treated with a fungicide and damaged timbers replaced.
