MAB Celebrity Services is proud to announce 1979 National League Cy Young Award winner, 1982 World Series Champion and 2006 National Baseball Hall of Fame electee Bruce Sutter as a candidate in the 2012 Pepsi Max Field of Dreams challenge. One of the sport's dominant relievers in the late 1970s and early 1980s, he became the only pitcher to lead the National League in saves five times (1979–1982, 1984), and retired with 300 saves. He was arguably the first pitcher to make effective use of the splitter. Sutter's number 42, which he wore throughout his career, was retired by the St. Louis Cardinals during a ceremony at Busch Stadium on September 17, 2006. The Pepsi Max Field of Dreams challenge allows the fan the chance to construct their very own all star team featuring some of the greatest to ever wear a baseball uniform. Two fans will win this contest, then compete against each other for votes to bring the game to their hometown. Fans are able to vote up to 25 times per day until June 30, 2012 for Bruce Sutter to be named to the Pepsi Max Field of Dreams all star team as the National League relief pitcher.
