Vice President of the EU Commission Speaks About Cloud Computing Through ISL Groop Web Conferen

June 8, 2012 - PRLog -- EuroCloud Day, held on 23rd May 2012, brought together 14 EU countries and over 1200 attendees which assisted the largest online conference. To carry out this technically demanding task EuroCloud management team has chosen ISL Online, which provided its web conferencing software ISL Groop and supported the event with its tech team.

EuroCloud organizations from UK, Italy, Germany, Austria and 10 other European countries all organized local EuroCloud venues and joined the ISL Groop web conference to watch and hear the speeches of the eminent guests, experts in the cloud computing area.

Neelie Kroes, the European Commissioner for Digital Agenda, emphasized the importance of cloud computing and the challenges that the EU strategy in this area is trying to solve.  Her speech can be seen in a video recorded by ISL Groop, which allows session recording, so the whole EuroCloud web conference was registered and archived.

ISL Groop is a web-based service where no registration is required. Participants receive their invitation through an email and can join an online meeting by only one click. ISL Groop web conferencing allows audio and video conferencing, screen sharing and sending text messages. The sessions can also be recorded and played back.
