WRG sets sail with Peel Ports

June 8, 2012 - PRLog -- WRG Creative Communication has been enlisted to provide nationwide marketing communications services for Peel Ports Group, part of Peel Holdings.

The agency, which was awarded the contract following a competitive pitch, is tasked with repositioning the Peel Ports brand as it expands its service offering and targets new industry sectors.

Over the next two years, the brand agency will work with Peel Ports Group to provide a wide range of marketing services. These will include brand and repositioning strategies, branding development, website design and build, marketing planning and campaign delivery, all aimed at their key target audiences within the port and shipping industry and major stakeholders.

WRG‘s brief encompasses all of the ports and terminals owned or operated by the group, situated in the North West, South East, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The Peel Ports Group is in the process of developing the new Liverpool 2 deep sea container terminal which will ultimately increase its profile within the national and global shipping industry. Peel Ports is also diversifying its offering to target emerging industry sectors, including port centric logistics facilities on the Manchester Ship Canal and renewable energy and off-shore wind facilities.
