June 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Tim Jagielo of Odd Hours shares: “ This song started with the pre-chorus. We also wanted to write another song where Tasha could just sing, and not play keys, so the guitar is as big and loud as could be reasonably done. Mike also sang to fill in, in the chorus.”

Natasha Beste of Odd Hours adds: “The song is about an obsessive compulsive need to modify other people's behavior because in your mind, their behavior reflects on your own personality. This happens with a lack of self-confidence. You link your own self-worth to others, creating an illusion of a stronger identity. In the song’s versus, I’m scolding and harassing the others, “you dirty girl, you’ve lost it... you've gone insane” I’m calling out their faults, but in reality, I’m tearing down myself. The goal is to have complete independence and self-worth, so in the chorus, I am yelling at myself, telling myself to "Learn to fly, or let you fade away."

About Odd Hours
Odd Hours maintains a white-knuckled grip on the umbrella of trashy art rock while subversively pulling listeners from one end of the musical spectrum to the other. Strobing between fragile, cavernous delay and crushing garage rock, Odd Hours only needs six hands to do what takes most bands eight or more. Percussive dynamo Mike Legue thunders brutally from behind the drums as Tim Jagielo splatters down 100 Jackson Pollocks per second with what most would consider a single guitar. All the while Natasha Beste haunts the air with her keys and hollows out an impossible place in the sound with her strong, plaintive alto for raw stories of despondency, power, and mental horror.
