Pinterest Workshop To Benefit Local Non-Profits For Pets

June 11, 2012 - PRLog -- JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Gielow Marketing and PR is sponsoring “Pinning For Puppies,” a donation only Pinterest workshop for Jacksonville businesses, July 24 at the US VenturePlex, with all proceeds benefitting First Coast No More Homeless Pets and K9s For Warriors.

For a donation of $35 or better, participants will learn the ins and outs of how to manage their business’ Pinterest account in the most proficient way.  Social media experts will be on-hand to inform attendees on how to take advantage of the popular social media platform for various industries. After the workshop, Sonja Dyess, CEO of Gielow Marketing and PR, will open the floor for any and all social media related questions.

“Pinterest is a vital tool that a majority of companies have yet to tap into.  We figured we could teach and give back to two of our favorite pet-based non-profits at the same time.  What could be better?” said Dyess.

First Coast No More Homeless Pets is an organization fighting to eliminate the euthanasia of animals in the community through free and low-cost spay and neuter programs.

K9s For Warriors gives service dogs to Veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder due to conflicts and war after 9/11.  Both organizations will have representatives attending this workshop.

“Pinning For Puppies” will be held at 6 p.m. at the US VenturePlex at 7235 Bonneval Road #100.
