Casey’s General Store Presents Check to Military Nonprofit

June 21, 2012 - PRLog -- NEWTON, IA, June 21, 2012–Casey’s General Store (www.caseys.com) will present a donation check of more than $355,000 to Hope For The Warriors®, a national nonprofit organization that assists combat wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen.  The check will be presented by Bob Myers, Casey’s General Store President and CEO and will be handed to Robin Kelleher, Hope For The Warriors® President.  The presentation will take place during the Triple Crown Race at the Iowa Speedway on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 7:50 p.m.

This generous donation is the result of a promotion held throughout the month of May in honor of Memorial Day.  During the month, Casey’s donated $1.00 to Hope For The Warriors® for every large specialty pizza sold.  Through this promotion, the company aimed to raise both funds and awareness for Hope For The Warriors® and to help the growing needs of military families.

“Casey’s General Store customers have once again stepped forward to support organizations such as Hope For The Warriors® who make a difference in the lives of American families,” Myers said.  “We know that our customers join us in saying ‘thank you’ to our service members and military families.”
