QUOTES FROM SPECIAL GUESTS IN ATTENDANCE
The event organizer, Marty Price, was extremely pleased with the turn out and donations from the sponsors. “I felt over all that the derby was a major success. We made mistakes, and that is expected for our first year and we will learn from it.   Next year we will be ready for a bigger & better derby.”

Marty also heard from organizers of other fishing events.  “The people from the Villa derby committee pulled me aside and said it was a class act derby. They were very impressed with our committee and prizes.”

Other comments from the derby included:

"I fish in tournaments all year and all over the place, you guys did awesome! Can't wait for next year!" – Mike, Ogden, UT

"Looking forward to next year, we will have more boats in the tournament!" – “Dirty Hookers” Team

"Let's fire up this grizzly bear!" – Kyle J. Green when getting his grill (nicknamed “Grillzilla”) going to BBQ 300 hamburgers and brats!
