Myisha Newton Rejoins Cavignac & Associates as Account Administrator

June 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Myisha Newton has returned from Texas and rejoined Cavignac & Associates, (www.cavignac.com), a leading San Diego risk management and insurance brokerage firm, announced Jeffrey W. Cavignac, CPCU, ARM, RPLU, CRIS, MLIS, president and principal of the firm.

In this role, Newton is charged with an array of administrative duties including preparing quotes, processing transactions, updating policies, and creating marketing packages as directed by the agency’s brokers.   She also assists clients with questions regarding their coverage and reviews insurance and indemnity sections of clients’ contracts.

Prior to her family’s move to Houston, Newton served seven years with Cavignac & Associates in the position of account manager.  After three years living out-of-state, she was happy to come home to San Diego and resume her work life here with her former employer.

While in Houston, Newton gained three more years insurance industry experience serving as an account manager for Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates, a full-service insurance firm, where her responsibilities were similar to her previous and present job at Cavignac & Associates.

Newton holds a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) credential and is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR).

In Houston, she was an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels, as well as a member of the Kingdom Impact Campaign committee, which helped raise funds for the new Living Water Church.

Born and raised in San Diego, Newton currently resides in the community of EastLake with her husband, Tyree, and their fourteen-year-old daughter, Tiana.  In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, running and cooking.
