Mazama Bars Land in Specialty Outdoor Stores

June 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Just a few months after launching online, Mazama Bars are starting to show up in retail locations. The first stores to carry the energy bars, Mazama Store and Goat’s Beard Mountain Supplies, are both located in the small town of Mazama in Washington’s Methow Valley.

Nestled in the North Cascades, Mazama is an active gateway for the hikers, climbers, backpackers, and mountain bikers who use it as a base for their adventures. Because Mazama Bars were created specifically for outdoor adventure, the town was a natural fit.

“We share more than just the name Mazama,” explains founder Brittany Manwill.  “We’re both passionate about the outdoors, real food, and living active lifestyles. It’s exciting to see our bars on store shelves.”

Mazama Store, an old-time general store, is the go-to place to get information about the local trails. Located just across the courtyard, Goat’s Beard has a wide array of backpacking and camping gear. Both stores will carry the bars starting in July. Mazama Bar plans on expanding to other specialty outdoor stores in the near future.

Mazama Bars are offered in three exciting flavors: Wild Berry, Hazelnut Mocha, and Chocolate Banana. The bars are all-natural and ideal for healthy meal replacement in the outdoors.
