Unicam ® Field Installable Fibre Connectors from CMS plc

July 4, 2012 - PRLog -- The Unicam range of field installable fibre connectors from Corning are now available from CMS plc. The range includes SC and LC connectors for use with singlemode or multimode fibres. The connectors are factory polished providing a consistently high performance and eliminating the need for consumables. The connectors can typically be terminated in approximately 45 seconds using a lightweight hand-held installation tool and cleaver, which form part of the Unicam toolkit. This product is both versatile and cost-effective and ideal for on-site installations where patch cords and pigtails can be made to specific lengths. Customers purchasing the Unicam Connector Tool kit are eligible for a free hands on training session covering cable preparation, connector termination and testing.
