Dr. Jennifer Sokolosky of Clarksville, MD Seeks Veteran in Need of Restorative Dentistry for Charity

July 3, 2012 - PRLog -- The A Soldier’s Smile charity events are in high demand of military veterans who require restorative dentistry treatments and are living with the risks of poor oral health. Dr. Jennifer Sokolosky of Clarksville, MD has volunteered her time, expertise and dental facilities to help a soldier who is need of advanced dental care treatments. The A Soldier’s Smile events have been established by the dental association Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (ACE) in conjunction with marketing agency Results, Production & Marketing (RPM). The goal of these events is to help veterans receive the dental care they require while also informing the public the need of helping the men and women who volunteer their time to fight for the freedoms of our country. It comes as a surprise to many but numerous veterans are ineligible for dental treatments through the VA because of their rank and position in or out of the military.

Dr. Sokolosky is accustomed to treating local military and government employees as she is centrally located to both Washington, DC and Baltimore in nearby Howard County, MD. In addition to being near NSA, Fort Meade, Walter Reed Hospital and Capital Hill, Dr. Sokolosky also receives patients from the Frederick and Annapolis areas. Dr. Sokolosky describes her involvement in the events as necessary. “Part of the reason I became involved with RPM was due to their desire to help veterans. The A Soldier’s Smile events are a great way to inform the public of the need for these kinds of events and to help veterans and their families.”
