First Responders to a Disaster, 4 Contact Hours for Health Care Workers

July 5, 2012 - PRLog -- This class is designed to help healthcare professionals develop an awareness of their own stress prior to work with their patients, awareness of boundary issues, making a physical assessment of the patient in a team triage, subtleties of self presentation and communication necessary in a disaster for the provider-patient relationship and other professionals. No riding involved and no horse experience needed.

Centers are wheelchair accessible, but classes not recommended for vision or hearing impaired individuals.

Participants must be present for the class and sign in/out if leaving.  All participants are required to sign a waiver of liability prior to class instruction.  Participants must waive/not waive permission to use their photographs in future marketing material.No products are sold at this venue. Georgia Benyk is Owner and Director of Equine Learning Center and has a financial interest in this class.
