Liquor License Auctioneers was envisioned, designed and developed by Mr. Russell Bloom, a former Investigator for the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Drawing on his many years of experience with the numerous laws, rules and regulations that confront California liquor licensees who buy and sell liquor licenses, Russell has crafted the first and only dedicated liquor license auction website in the country!

Over the years, we have observed flaws in the liquor license industry, from both sellers' and buyers' perspectives. We started Liquor License Auctioneers because we wanted to improve upon the process of purchasing and selling liquor licenses.

Mr. Bloom felt that the biggest flaw in the industry was that there was no transparency. We then made it our mission from the start, to make the entire process of buying and selling liquor licenses in the State of California "Transparent".

Liquor License Auctioneers launched on 7.2.2012.

Control is now back with sellers and buyers of liquor licenses in California.
