GNLW550X1800V centrifuge is a high-speed,high-volume decanting centrifuge . the bowl diameter is 550mm. the bowl length is 1800mm. the larger bowl size allows for a long retention time even at higher throughput. Liquid retention time refers to the time during which the drilling fluid is inside the centrifuge bowl and exposed to the G-force. The theory is that the longer the drilling fluid is exposed to the G-force. the more solids are removed.Again. there is a point where returns diminish. Retention time is a direct function of throughput: the higher the throughput. the shorter the retention time.It is for this reason that GN Solids Control designed and built a large bowl centrifuge.

G-force is the most important factor in assessing the effectiveness of a centrifuge. It plays a important role in decanting centrifuge. High G-force increase the performance of solids removal. GNLW550X1800V G-force can up to 3000. the bowl speed can up to 3200 RPM. It is precision-balanced for smooth operation over long periods at speeds of 1400 to 3200 RPM.
