Union County Resident, Paul Camarinha, Receives 2012 Triple Crown Award From Toastmasters

July 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Paul Camarinha, along with 47 other men and women, was presented with the Triple Crown Award by Toastmasters International, District 83. The award, which honors members achieving three or more goals in a single year, was presented to Camarinha at the 2012 Hail and Farewell awards ceremony.  The ceremony was held, Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Zeris Inn - Chrisandis Restaurant, 372 Route 46 East, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046.

The Triple Crown award is used to motivate members to set communication and leadership goals, and to work towards excellence in the Toastmasters education program. The award, which has been in place for three years, has resulted in a marked increase in educational goals achieved by Toastmasters members worldwide.

"It’s exciting to celebrate the accomplishment of our District 83 Triple Crown Achievers," said Immediate Past District 83 Governor, Lisa Pantano.  “No matter how long you have been a Toastmaster, you can still learn by working through the program.”

Camarinha, in addition to earning the Triple Crown Award, also served as 2011-2012 President of the Toastmasters Club of Union (TMCU).  Under his leadership, TMCU achieved President’s Distinguished Club – the highest level of recognition available from Toastmasters International.
