SKORA to launch groundbreaking SS13 collection at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market

The SKORA SS13 collection is more than double the size of previous collections and brings two all-new models with groundbreaking mid and outsole technology and construction techniques to the market. Also being released are fresh new colorways of the two debut models SKORA launched to critical acclaim earlier this year.
The two new SS13 models, PHASE and CORE, are both built on the revolutionary new R02 unibody outsole platform, featuring IBR (Injection Blown Rubber) that provides the function of both midsole and outsole – and is unlike any other platform on the market.
Pushing the boundaries of material technology, IBR offers better abrasion resistance, grip and compression-set than injected EVA, at a much lower density and weight than rubber. This provides runners with an ultra-supple ground feel and outstanding durability, longevity and running comfort in a flexible, lightweight single unit. The new PHASE and CORE are zero-drop for the perfect blend of feel and function, like the original FORM and BASE, and feature 8mm forefoot/heel stack height – 1mm lower than the originals.

SKORA PHASE (7.2oz Men’s / 5.8oz Women’s) is constructed using the latest lamination techniques, with a minimal single-layer mesh upper and laminated reflective details. With an asymmetric lacing system, and a unique unibody IBR outsole, PHASE provides barely-there performance and lightweight responsiveness. Zero-drop, 8mm forefoot/heel stack height. $110 MSRP.
SKORA CORE (8.1oz Men’s / 6.7oz Women’s) features a perforated Pittards® Armor-Tan® Goatskin leather upper, a combination lining with WR100X® leather and antibacterial Agion mesh, and an asymmetric lacing system. With a unibody IBR outsole, CORE offers incredibly supple road feel, and superior anatomical fit. Zero-drop, 8mm forefoot/heel stack height. $155 MSRP.

SKORA FORM (8.2oz Men’s / 6.8oz Women’s) is a full-leather upper featuring Pittards® Armor-Tan® Goatskin leather with WR100X® leather lining, and is designed with unique asymmetric lacing and no-tongue construction to provide a glove-like fit and premium performance. SKORA BASE (7.9oz Men’s / 6.5oz Women’s) offers a high-tensile, stretch-mesh sock fit upper with an innovative adjustable X-strap closure system, elastic heel strap, reflective details and stitch-down construction, plus a removable antibacterial minimal sock liner.
