In keeping with that tradition, Shreve will present a dazzling collection of hundreds of loose diamonds in all cuts and sizes; diamond engagement rings, wedding bands and  mountings for the event.

The fiery brilliance of diamonds has been cherished and coveted by men and women for millennia. The ancients wore them as talismans of good fortune, and thought they were tiny splinters of falling stars. Those who own a diamond ring, but dream of something new – a larger stone, a different cut or a finer quality stone –  are encouraged to bring their old diamond in for evaluation and trade. Shreve will make an offer, and if agreeable, issue a credit to be used towards the purchase of a new diamond. Those who love their diamonds, but want a glam new look, can select a new setting for their gem from the hundreds of mountings featured at the event or have one custom designed.
