Monta Vista High School Student Nikitas Kanellakopoulos to Serve on FBLA-PBL Board of Directors

Aug. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- RESTON, VA—Nikitas Kanellakopoulos, a senior at Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, CA, will serve on the national board of directors of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL), the world’s largest and oldest student business organization.

Nikitas was elected by his peers to serve as the 2012-13 FBLA National President during the FBLA-PBL National Leadership Conference, held June 29-July 2 in San Antonio, TX. As FBLA National President, his seat on the national board is for a one-year term.

Throughout his six years in FBLA, Nikitas has served as a local chapter officer in middle school and high school, as well as a CA FBLA state officer. His competitive success includes placing first in California in the Business Ethics competition, as well as placing fourth in the nation in the Parliamentary Procedures competition.
