Follow on Google News | Empower Network Banned By Facebook?Facebook recently banned the Empower Network links on Monday August 6, 2012 making some panic, and others rejoice, but is this the end for the Empower Network on Facebook?
By: Empower Network PM Marketing Group As of this article (August 8, 2012) the Empower Network has well over 40,000 members worldwide, and is currently ranking according to Alexa 192 in the United States, and 628 globally out of billions of worldwide websites. The exponential growth experienced by the Empower Network has not gone unnoticed, and the doubters, haters, and competitors have taken note by constantly trying to sideline the positive factors found within Empower Network with negative remarks, and comments posted online on various social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. Recently Facebook blocked all of the Empower Network links in an attempt to thwart what facebook is considering to be "spam," but what those in the know feel is simply an effort drafted up by Facebook in order to steer Empower Network bloggers from the "free" marketing platform the Empower Network is well known for, into the PPC method Facebook so desperately needs, especially after the stock free fall and robot click allegations against Facebook. Facebook is not the only marketing platform, although Facebook is a powerful one, but the fact remains that only about 25% of the Empower Networks traffic is generated from Facebook, and this is mostly due to the group page postings by current Empower Network bloggers who post status updates. Is the Facebook ban of the Empower Network permanent? I don't think so, since Facebook has done this before to other rapidly growing brands who've displayed consistent growth, and positive attributes like the Empower Network. What are the options for Empower Network members? Simple... Twitter, Google, and Youtube are excellent platforms that will produce even much more direct, targeted, long term residual traffic for Empower Network. The key to this minor obstacle presented to Empower Network bloggers by Facebook is to remain optimistic, and encourage creativity. Empower Network members can still post updates on Facebook by the utilization of redirected capture pages and websites, but also take this time to explore more productive methods of status updates, and advertising such as the aforementioned Youtube, Twitter, and Google just to name a few .
