GloboMenu Announces Debut of Zalotta Services for Restaurants

Aug. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- GloboMenu, developer of innovative restaurant solutions, has announced the launch of their Zalotta service to help restaurants increase their visibility on social networks by offering useful online menu services to the public.  

“Lots of restaurant owners realize how many people they can reach in their community via social networks, but they aren’t sure what to do beyond fan pages and paid ads” said Eric Marshall, CEO and founder of GloboMenu.  “Zalotta brings something new to the table: A fun way for people to crave and love items from a restaurant’s online menu that translates into wall posts and pins that showcase the restaurant”

The Zalotta service focuses on a restaurant creating their online Zalotta menu.  This menu is easy for the non-technical user to create, much like adding photos to their Facebook account. Once the menu is created, the Zalotta website can generate QR codes for the restaurant to print and publish their menu everywhere.  This useful component of Zalotta for the smartphone-equipped public is free of charge for any restaurant as part of Zalotta Free.  

For a monthly fee, Zalotta Social unlocks social network integration that allows patrons to go one step further with posts to their Facebook wall for items they loved or craved.  “The Zalotta online menu allows friends to experience a restaurant’s menu as if they were all sitting around the same table, sharing what they loved” Marshall added.  Zalotta Social also provides additional ways for the restaurant owner to interact with his customers on Facebook, with updates to the menu and coupons that automatically notify fans of the restaurant.

GloboMenu is seeking to increase its existing paying subscriber base of Zalotta Social with special pricing to restaurants in the central Indiana area willing to provide continued feedback as new features are added.

GloboMenu is a new venture founded by Eric Marshall of software development firm Conceptzure.  Conceptzure and GloboMenu are dedicated to building innovative online solutions that reduce the barriers between business and new technologies.  Driven by rapid growth, GloboMenu recently added Damon Richards and Rob Glass from IT outsourcing company Port-to-Port Consulting, to fill roles in Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
