Brown Daub Kia To Give Free School Supplies To Local Kids In Need

Aug. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Easton, PA - Brown Daub Kia, in partnership with radio personalities from 96.1 Cat Country, will host a school supply giveaway on August 24th from 9 am to 1 pm to benefit local children in need.

President of Brown Daub Kia, Tom Ring, says hundreds of packages of backpacks, notebooks, markers and other supplies will be available and distributed to local families at the dealership on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“This has been a tough year for many people and we’re looking forward to helping families offset some of the expenses that add up so quickly at the beginning of the school year,” says Ring.

While Ring may best be known for his local advertising and signature tagline that  “everyone deserves a nicer, newer car,” Ring also believes children deserve nicer and newer supplies when starting school.

“Something as simple as a new backpack or showing up prepared with all of the required supplies on the first day of school does wonders for a child’s confidence. We want local kids to start this school year with their best foot forward and having new school supplies is a huge step in that direction,” he adds.
