Dusit Thani Dubai colleagues spend their Saturday night raising smiles

Aug. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Colleagues from the iconic 5 star Thai hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road volunteered their Saturday evening to raise funds for Operation Smile UAE, an international children's medical charity who provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.

The team of Dusit Thani Dubai colleagues participated at the Dubai Flea market armed with a truck load of donated items as part of the hotel’s fundraising efforts, Dusit Smiles for Operation Smile.

Daniel Andrews, PR & Communications Manager leading the hotel’s CSR efforts noted: “Operation Smile is an inspiring charity who work hard to change the lifes of children across the globe. While our corporate office supports the charity’s South East Asian branch, being based in the Middle East our colleagues elected to support Opeartion Smile UAE with the goal to solely fund a mission within the region. The flea market was just one step in our fundraising efforts towards Dusit Smiles for Operation Smile and we have a number of projects and events lined up to support this throughout the year.”
